An afternoon painting with the Urban Sketchers group, produced this painting that never made it home. Someone who lived in the building liked it, so I sold it to them.

The Green Heron
On a recent bike ride along the Towpath Trail, I stopped to do a quick sketch of a green heron and some turtles. The next day I spent time painting this picture. It was a lovely ride and I felt blessed to watch these creatures enjoy the sunshine.
